Transrectal Prostate Ultrasound with Doppler / Elastography / Micro-Vascular Flow
Preparation: Purchase two (2) Fleet Enema, from the Pharmacy (the Fleet Enemas are over the counter). Take one Fleet enema, the night before your ultrasound test, and another one, in the morning. Don't eat anything 8 hours before the test. Please do the check-in 15 minutes early to fill in all previous legal documentation before the test (Inform Consent). Stop your blood thinners medications, in case you are using (such as aspirin, Plavix, and Coumadin (Warfarin) the day before the exam according to your doctor's orientation. Take your other regular medications. The Bladder must be empty.
